We’re not chefs. We’re just two people who missed the taste of home.
The Why
After years living abroad, we came back to Kerala craving the flavours we grew up with — the kind that came from sun-dried spices, slow cooking, and grandma’s kitchen. What started as a personal project — making pickles and ready-to-eat meals the way our family always had — quickly turned into something bigger.
- It started in our kitchen.
Where It All Began
Our roots run deep in the highlands near Munnar, where my family has long been connected to farming and spice cultivation. That connection inspires every jar we pack — whether it’s a fiery pickle, a unique product from our experimental range, or a humble chutney. My background in IT and business, and my wife’s in nursing, may not scream “food entrepreneurs,” but our hearts have always been in the kitchen.
- What We Make
From day one, our goal was simple
Make food like it's made at home — no shortcuts, no preservatives, no factory tricks. Just real ingredients, traditional techniques, and lots of love.
- India & around the world
From Our Home to Yours
Today, Mudhome is proud to be one of India’s most trusted names in handcrafted, natural pickles — with customers all over the country and a growing following of NRIs across the globe who say our jars taste like home.
We still do things the hard way:
Fresh ingredients, cleaned and dried properly, ground, prepare and packed in small batches. We don’t add chemical preservatives. We don’t extend shelf life. We don’t cut corners.
“If it’s not good enough for our family, it’s not going in yours.”
